i hope you enjoyed your family holiday yesterday!
We went with some college kids to Granite Mountain to pick up trash and clean the mess that many uncaring hikers leave behind. To us, earth day is about once a month, that's how often we go on one of your little "cleaning" trips.
We had a great time at the park yesterday although I have to admit I didn't do anything productive like picking up trash. Spent the afternoon taking in the sights and sounds, hugged a lot of people, helped rid the world of excess tequila and gave my maracas a good shaking at the drum circle. Sometimes you just have to shake your maracas, you know?
lol very true Paul. In Arizona, we do try to save that for May 5th.
I probably should tell you that despite our good deeds, we did it with the help of three coolers of coronas.... hey! We all could use a little help, eh?
