Morton Kondracke, executive editor of the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call, said Hunter appeals to the "nationalist and anti-immigration protectionists in the 'fortress America' wing" through his defense work and championing the construction of a fence along the U.S.-Mexico border.
"But I can't conceive of him being the nominee," Kondracke said and then suggesting Hunter is too extreme for a majority of Americans. "He would ruin the Republican Party."

Hi Mary, is your eye doing better? Thank you for the acknowledgement of the work Peter and I have done but we're not heros unless you and thousands of others who have also dedicated themselves to real democracy are heros too. Truth is though, we're all just doing what we're supposed to be doing, it's what the framers of the constitution had in mind when they wrote it. If everyone were engaged in it, the politicians would be held accountable and would represent us, as it should be.
Well, Paul, you and Peter definitely deserve lots of praise. The hardest working cardboard-hangers I know!
Let's hope there's a HUGE reason to celebrate tomorrow!
